I can't remember the last time I was this hooked on a pattern. I started 10 days ago, and finished the 4th chart earlier today. I love it. I'm using some Lisa Souza fingering weight merino in the Mother of Pearl colorway, and I think it was a good choice. The rest of my knitting has taken a back seat to this shawl.

Oh, BEAUTIFUL!!! When I reach EXPERT knitter level, which is prolly a year or two away, this will definitely be something I attempt! I think it's the prettiest shawl I've seen! Just wonderful! Can't wait to see everyone's work!

I completely agree - I started it ten days ago too and am around the same point. It does get a bit of a grind from here on in though, with the 350 plus stitches.
I can't put it down either.
And I don't remember it taking three weeks either, I thought it was longer than that!
This yarn is gorgeous..It actually makes me "rethink" my color choice!
