(Sorry about the cross-post. It's hard to write different words about the same thing.)
Look.
That would be the last stitch of the peacock.
Listen.
That would be the deafening sound of nobody caring in my house.
Still, I can always count on the internet. The internet cares.

Awesome! Can't wait for the blocked pics.
Thanks for sharing that last stitch with us.....
Know the pictures are going to be great....
Fabulous! I haven't started yet but I'm sure your pictures are going to spur me on.
I care Ailsa - and it's beautiful!
Woohoo! Can't wait to see the finished photos. I finished row 139 last night. I've been splitting my free time with my wheel and some gorgeous merino/tencel.
In my house, no one notice when I frog over half a shawl. It has happened - "Honey do you like my shawl?" Honey replies with a grunt as I hold up a 3/4 finished clapotis. "Honey, do you like my shawl?" Honey replies with a grunt and a "huh?" as I hold up my mini bikini size shawl that I was frogging for over an hour while sitting next to him on the couch. I soo understand... Your peacock shawl is truly a work of art. Loved seeing the ravelry projects.
